Windows Vista Service Pack 2 Beta Já Online!

Já tinhamos anunciado no inicio da semana de que a Microsoft estaria a planear disponibilizar públicamente a versão Beta do Service Pack 2 para o Windows Vista.

A versão distribuida está disponivel em cinco idiomas : Inglês, Francês, Alemão, Japonês e Espanhol, pelo que a utilização destes SP's 2 noutros idiomas não vai funcionar.

O Service Pack 2 está igualmente distribuido em diversas formas, através do Windows Update, em formato ISO, e de forma isolada (instalação stand-alone) tanto para Windows de 32 bits como para 64 bits.
O Windows Vista Service Pack 2 vai suportar novos tipos de hardware para além dos habituais updates de segurança, melhorias de desempenho e de correcção de bugs do sistema operativo. O SP 2 para o Windows Vista vai incluir o Windows Search 4.0, suporte ao Bluetooth 2.1, suporte à gravação em Blu-Ray e aumento de desempenho. Resta referir que o Windows Vista SP2 vai necessitar do Service Pack 1 instalado.

Deverá ser lançada a versão final em Abril de 2009.

Recordamos que a utilização desta versão Beta do Service Pack 2 pode apresentar alguma instabilidade, pelo que a sua utilização é por conta e risco do utilizador.
